Local bike riders prepare for Bacchus Marsh to Bendigo and back fundraising ride on 17th & 18th April

Once again we are pleased to support the local fundraising efforts for local mental health programs. The local Bacchus Marsh cycling group are undertaking their annual ride to raise funds and awareness of mental health this year on the weekend of April 17th & 18th.

The money raised will be donated to Djerriwarrh Health Services, Mental Health Department. Touched by the death of a friend, the group decided they wanted to help get support services for local people suffering with a mental illness.

With this in mind, they were able to raise over $5,000.00 last year and are hoping to increase that amount this year. This years ride will be from Bacchus Marsh to Bendigo and return.

All cash donations will be greatly appreciated and donations over $2.00 can be receipted for taxation purposes.

Trivia Night Fundraiser 13 November 2009 a success

Bacchus Marsh local cyclists ran a trivia night to assist in raising awareness of mental health issues within the community and to raise funds to assist in furthering local mental health services. All funds raised will go to Djerriwarrh Health Services Mental Health Division. A total of $5911.00 was raised and will go towards the final tally of donations following the next bike ride in April 2010.
